tea for dinner.

not a great start to my clean eating. i’m coming down with something. i was very tired yesterday. today i woke up with a funny, tight feeling in my throat, soreness all over, and a killer headache. my stomach has been bothering me all day, so it was tea time for dinner!


i know i’m not feeling well when i can’t even stomach a whole cup of coffee!

after a few hours i decided to eat, and had some strawberries, blueberries, a banana, and some cottage cheese. yum!


for lunch i made the most amazing frappuccino ever created. thank you minimalist baker, thank you.

Roasted Coconut Mocha Frappuccino

  • 1/4 cup toasted coconut chips from Trader Joe’s (YUM!!)
  • 8 coconut milk ice cubes (i used Whole Foods Coconut Milk)
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, chilled
  • 2 tbsp chocolate syrup (make your own or pick your favorite sugar free at the store!)

mix it in the blender, top with extra coconut chips and chocolate syrup and ITS LIKE STARBUCKS AT HOME. seriously, so amazing.

and that says a lot coming from someone who’s stomach feels off today!

ps- i’m refusing to use capital letters today because i’m a whiny little sick girl

pps-running begins again tomorrow…decided to rest tonight after another 10 hour work day.
