Mocha Peanut Coconut Smoothie

These flavors sound great on their own, but together? I wasn’t sure…but it turns out they work great side by side!

  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 instant coffee packet
  • 1 scoop chocolate whey protein
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk from a can
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 cup ice
  • 2 cups spinach

I used 1/4 cup coconut milk from a can because it is much more creamy than the refrigerated kind; I really like the texture it produces.  I use frozen bananas because it helps create the “Smoothie” texture & sweetens it, but I only use 1/2 because of all the carbs one medium banana has (27g carbs, 14.5g sugar)!! I also use spinach in almost all my smoothies. You won’t even notice it’s there =)
